Collapse the World [Private]

Megumi rubbed the back of her head and giggled to herself. "You just look like a dog demon to me and the rest of us. If you think you look like Lord InuGenki, then you have yet to meet his brother Sesshomaru" she stated before she erupted into a hysterical laughter. "Although, you look way better than him even if he had a pair of tits!" she said. She took in a deep breath and sighed waving herself off. "Our lives here in this castle isn't too crazy. Lady Akemi does like to bring us in to have fun, and well...if you noticed, that's why all of the maids children upstairs look a lot like Lord InuGenki" she said before she blushed. "I mean he's a good father. As to being a good lover..." she said before she blushed fidgeting with her fingers. "He's an acquired taste...a bit on the big or too big side. It would be difficult for one woman to endure such a thing every night. Only, Lady Akemi has say in who's worthy, and she gets first pick" she explained the whole dynamic between the semi-open relationship.

Cracking open one eye, Seshua turned her eye and looked over her shoulder at the maid that entered the room, again another bottle in her hands. Her mind actually far clearer than it was earlier that day, she merely looked at the woman in silence for a few moments before looking ahead again. "As well as one can be expected to be." Her voice rose and fell with a strange cadence, courtesy of the near empty second bottle of sake at her right side. "You know... Someone shows up who looks like your boss, but clearly the wrong gender... and you girls don't bat an eye... How crazy is the life of the people in this castle?"

The maids were hard at work helping the newcomer. They did have something to fit Seshua, which it was something common with Kurama and Kiyohime being a similar size. They were very kind to loan their kimono to her, and Megumi the half oni came in with another sake. "Are you feeling better, milady?" she asked.

Seshua found herself that night with a couple of bottles of aged sake, one heated and one chilled, the results of flirting with just the right maid. Sitting on her slightly raised futon bed, she sat in the moonlight completely unclothed, drinking directly from her bottles. Another maid had come and got her kimono to wash it. Glancing down at her 40 DD sized chest, she let out a sigh, wondering if anyone had something that would fit her until her clothing was ready again. "Remi, Claire, Arthur... Stay strong." She whispered to herself, closing her eyes and tilting her face towards the moon.

InuGenki shook his head and sighed. "No, using the well to undo something just means you gave up on that world. Arthur is correct, just because you change the outcome of one's future, will not mean it will change the future for all timelines" he said before he closed his eyes. "Rest well" he said before he left. Akemi slid the door shut and went to go get her back and feet worked on. In the meantime, Touga their eldest son wondered through the residence. "Hey! Old man! I thought you said you were going to train me!" he shouted just outside the room she was in. "Touga! What have I told you about yelling in the house!? He's not deaf!" Akemi scolded him.

Seshua felt a painful pulse from her arm and she slowly lowered herself onto her knees, her good hand cradling the elbow of her damaged arm. Closing her eyes, taking in a deep breath and holding it for a moment then slowly let it out. She did this a few times, suppressing her unwanted surge of emotion. "I should have used the well instead of destroying it. Went back and attempted to kill him, and I regretted not doing so... but I come to know, thanks to Arthur, that it would do nothing to change my future. Only creating a new timeline from that moment. I ask that you leave me be for the rest of the day, until tomorrow. I need... the rest."

InuGenki got up and wondered over to the room that the ladies were in after overhearing their conversation. "You have gone through a lot. Now...can you imagine everyone in your world perishing?" he asked. He did not enter the room, but Akemi looked towards him stunned. "W-what do you mean?" she asked. InuGenki sighed heavily. "I do not have a world to return to. Everything was scorched, poisoned, then frozen. In my world humans created weapons with such devastating power and so many of them that if one nation with these weapons attacked another with these weapons, then it's the end of the world. That was what one demon did in mine...the very same one who killed your husband" he explained. Akemi shuttered at this.

"He is... Though I cannot wrap my mind around how he can be a demon in this world." She paused, her hand passing through her hair to fluff it out. She glanced out the corner of her eyes without turning her head, thinking for a moment. She didn't like emotions, showing them around strangers anyway, but if she was to be stuck here?

"Magic is something humans in my world can use quite freely. So could demons and any other supernatural race. I married early. Did not have a problem finding the right mate. Had one year before war broke out. Mother and my father went out to battle. Enemy and after enemy had fallen before them. Then a human appeared. I told them not to trust him, that my father was way too trusting of the... survivor." She reached up and let the shoulders of her kimono fall. It revealed painful looking purple lightning like markings that ran up her arm. She looked down at that hand, flexing her claws.

"I found Inoue dying at that damn well. The Source of Nihon's time magic... Ryusei had come from the future, farther than when I was last in my world. Inoue told me that Ryusei had  attacked him when he had gotten suspicious, and followed the man. He told me Ryusei was going to kill my parents while my father was preoccupied with Mother. She had become pregnant again.

"By the time I got there... I was too late. My father was very powerful, one of the top ten demons in the world, but Mother was his sole focus. The stupid bastard wasn't on high alert, and using his magic, he immobalized my Mother and took a long time killing my father. Using wolfsbane, which shouldn't have worked...

"I chased him to that well. Blinding by rage I have never felt so strong, I reached into his chest and pulled out his heart." She let her good hand slowly run down her damaged arm. "Even as he used a curse in her dying moments, and the poison made these markings on me, I still couldn't remember." She shook her head, taking in a deep breath. "I lost Inoue's legacy that day. Had to bury four people that day."

Akemi tapped her finger to her chin and thought to herself. "Well, if you ever feel better, then you know whom to contact" she said before she sat her arms to the side. "I don't know who this Ryusei is...but I assume he or she is a dragon perhaps?" she asked.

Seshua looked over at her and her expression became blank, guarded. "Food, on my stomach? It's turning like a roller coasrer." She muttered the end to herself. She turned her back towards the woman, reaching up and pulling loose the small ribbon that held her hair up. "I can feel a faint trace of... a version of Ryusei here. I do not sense the same taint as mine had, but it is best for me to stay away from the... the demon. I cannot guarantee I will not try and kill this one id I see him...."

Akemi looked at her confused. "A curse?" she asked before she put her hand to her face letting out a deep evil belly laugh. She laughed so hard that her milk bags sloshed and wobbled about like a water balloon filled with jello. "Oh darling, did I not just tell you? I'm a powerful sorceress. Curses and spells are my specialty" she boasted. She liked a good challenge, and she found something for her to do for amusement. "Of course...allow me to take you to a room" she said before she began escort her. As they walked, she spoke to her, "We have plenty of sake here. Just let one of my ladies know whatever you need" she seemed to be very happy for some reason. "Are you sure you don't want a little bit to eat? We have the best demon cooks and ingredients of all the lands. Any comfort foods or snacks you can think of, they can make" she said not really pushing her, but just to tempt her.

Seshua watched as Akemi approached her, and she took a step back to keep her from making contact with her. "I cannot be sure if the curse placed on me after I killed Ryusei is active in this world or not. Until you have that child, you have to avoid touching me without something to cover your hands." She said in a strained voice, her gaze at the woman's hand. "If you don't mind... I need a room now. Maybe a drink as well." Her heart felt... twisted. "Do not worry about me eating tonight. I will not be eating."

Akemi ran her fingers through her hair and looked away. "Oh...well...I mean small changes can mean anything" she muttered timidly. She pulled back when she got that kind of a reaction from her, and InuGenki made a face, which she gave him a look. "Before you start, she told you no! Just because you think you know what happened don't mean you have to make her relive it!" she spoke to him harshly. He took in a deep breath and sighed. She went over to touch her. "Don't worry...he means well. I've had an abusive girlfriend before. I may not have scars on my body...but I have scars in my heart and my soul" she stated trying to connect with her.

The woman let out a heavy sigh, not really noticing the smile that had managed to break through her mask. "You just need to pay close attention. Even the smallest of changes can be something that can develop into a problem. Seshua's body tensed up, and she could feel her... darker side she had locked away a long time ago rise a bit when the woman of the house brought up her scars. "Do not ask me about them. Ever. It will make it better for the rest of us."

Akemi blushed and instinctively placed a hand over her tummy. "Oh, well..my sense of smell isn't as keen as you dog demons. Yes...I am very early along, but I am not doing anything that much different. I'm eating what my body needs me to eat, and I'm avoiding what I need to avoid. All that's left is for nature to do the rest" she said rather casually. She covered her mouth and giggled. "My apologies, I...could not tell if you were looking at my stomach or at my boobs. They all are at the same place" she said. InuGenki shook his head at his wife about to complain about her breasts again. "Of course our children are valuable. It's why she is surrounded by talented and powerful women" he stated before they both noticed her scars. "What happened to your hands?" Akemi asked.

Seshua crossed her arms over her chest, raising an eyebrow. She waved a lazy hand towards the woman with a heavy sigh. "You have obviously been pregnant more than once. The smell coming off of you is muddled, slightly soured. It is the same smell that Remi had on her first pregnancy. Some things even demons and humans have in common. With your power and stature, that makes the child you are carrying highly valuable. You should pay better attention to yourself." She looked at her right arm, dropping her hands to her sides as she noticed the lightning-like scars had shown.

Akemi put her hand up to her mouth and laughed. "Oh, no, Kiyohime is the only one with fire affiliation. She cooked her ex-lover alive inside a bell melted it and entombed him molten metal. In fact, all us women up here have some serious powers. I think you'd fit in, and keep Genki in line" she said before giving off an innocent but evil giggle. She cocked her head to the side in confusion. "I'm sorry? What had been intense? What do you mean do anything different?" she asked.

Seshua could feel a strange pull towards the direction of that damned well, but she kept herself calm, banishing the memory of how good it felt to hold the bastard's still beating heart in his hand. "My past is just that. The past. That does not matter now." She said in an even voice, turning her attention to the lady when she spoke. "Interesting. Not one to mess with. unless you carry an affiliation with fire." She let her gaze go down the woman and she frowned. "How intense has it been this time? Are you doing anything different this time around?"

InuGenki raised an eyebrow at her at her outburst. "Well, you care explaining your past? Maybe there lies the answer on how you got here...and maybe how you can get back" he said. Akemi sighed and shook her head. "Come on, don't push her too hard. She needs to cope" she explained before she looked back at her. "You can stay up here. If anyone pesters you, they will have to answer to me! I may not look it, but long before I became a mother, I was the most powerful sorceress. I still know how to suck someone's soul from their body or freeze someone in nevermelting ice" she spoke firmly. InuGenki sighed heavily, but he laughed recollecting the times where he had pissed her off.

Seshua had mentally checked out as he first started speaking again, but her gaze sharpened and she turned an angry look towards the two. "The well should stay destroyed!" She scowled, looking off to the side. "Ryusei stays dead. It is exactly what that waste of demon space deserves. Let him burn where he went." All she wanted to do at this point was try and get a strong drink and pass out into sleep. She needed the best rest she could get if she was to figure out a way to get home... before it was too late. So when that woman said she could stay there for now, she let her anger leech away, leaving her actually looking worn out. "If I did... it would be best for me to be as far from the rest of the people resident here. I do not have the energy nor the patience to explain why I look the way I do."

InuGenki crossed his arms over his chest in deep thought. "You did not simply travel backwards through your own time...you've traveled across different timelines. Each one has its own set of probabilities and outcomes dependent on the last. It could be possible that your being here was a fluke. Who knows" he muttered. He ran his fingers through his hair. "They'll live...and they will remember you" he muttered before he looked down at the map and frowned deeply troubled. Akemi went around to her husband's side to touch his back. "Is there a way to send her back to where she came from?" she asked. He shook his head. "No...she said the well was destroyed in her point in time. The best that could be done would be to send her to that point just before with was destroyed. It's all about luck after that. It's how I ended up here...just luck" he said.

Akemi flinched. "What are you saying?" she asked. InuGenki shook his head. "Wasn't it you that said that I was different when you said you revived me with the Shikon Jewel?" he asked. Akemi nodded slowly before he sighed. "Your husband is still dead...the only thing that accursed jewel did was pull me, an impostor, into this point in time. Only I'm older...and have the same memories as your husband before he was slain by that time traveling piece of slime" he mumbled. Akemi wrapped her arms around him and pressed her head into his back. "I knew you weren't him, but still...you know us all maybe better than he did. You smell like him, you talk like him, and you make love like him...you are far more stronger than he ever was" she stated before she looked towards Seshua. "You know...you're welcome to stay in our castle for however long you wish. I think it would be better for you to be around someone like Lord InuGenki" she stated.

Seshua blinked slowly, a profound sense of loss hitting her like a freight train, unaware of the tear that felt from her right eye. "I should be able to tell where I... came out, but I cannot. Arthur knew time very... well. Taught even an old demon like myself new things. There is no trace of where I came out... or who brought me here. The magic in my world to pull off such a thing... was lost even before I was born." She closed her eyes, tilting her head to the side, slowly feeling anger coming up in her chest. "Remi better live. The others can live without me... if I cannot find a way back."

InuGenki raised an eyebrow very careful to how he was to go about this conversation with his wife and other prying ears. "You've come a far way. Must have set you back a great deal of time. I don't know who these people are nor do I know the culture of which you come from...well at least not so much in detail. If you've come to me for answers, I'm afraid to tell you that should you chose to return to where you came it will not be completely the same from which you've left it, for that is how time works. The very event in which you have left has in itself caused change. Who knows how much time has past before you get back...that is if you even make it back to where everything was where you last left it" he explained. Akemi was not sure with what he said, but to her it sounded poignant and philosophical. "What are you talking about?" she pondered totally forgetting her back spasms and sore feet.

Seshua found herself starting to turn towards the woman before she had even winced, but she quit when she realized what she had been doing. these people meant nothing to her. This woman was not Remi, who was having a hard time with her own current pregnancy. Hearing the man's question, she turned and looked at him, reaching up to lightly touch the ends of her hair. "They call it Briar Rose. A shampoo named after the daughter of Princess Aurora. Koraleine insisted on buying it for me. Christmas present." She said in a low voice, careful to keep her expression clear of the twinge of sadness she felt.

Once he had finished his map, he sat his calligraphy set aside and looked back up at his guest. Akemi put her hand to her lower back wincing in discomfort, which he did take notice and make a note of it. He turned his focus onto Seshua knowing straight away that she was different just by scent. "Are you wearing Shampoo?" he asked. Akemi looked over at Seshua perplexed. "Shampoo?"
