Coming home, finding love (m/m open)

Tay had left the pack she had grown up in when she was nineteen, she had left because the man who was three years older than her who her wolf wanted as her mate had rejected her. When she left she lived roughly, moving from place to place, relationship to relationship. It was during this time that she ended up with an abusive man, Tay lived with him for two years before she managed to leave him. She had made the choice to go back to her old pack for safety, thankfully even though the man who was meant to be her mate was now the Alpha of the pack Tay hadn't seen him since she had come back three days earlier.

She had kept herself to the room she had been given in the pack house because she didn't want anyone to see the mess that she was, Tay didn't want to explain why she had broken ribs and a plethora of bruises and cuts all over her body. She also didn't want to explain all of the old scars that now littered her body. But Tay knew she couldn't stay in her room forever, she needed to get something to eat and drink. Pulling on a long sleeved black shirt and jeans Tay made her way out of the room and headed for the kitchen, she had left her waist length red hair down so it could fall into her face so no one could see bruises and the cuts there. The only cuts and bruises Tay couldn't hide were on her hands and that annoyed her.

Going into the kitchen Tay set about making herself some a sandwich and grabbed a bottle of water, hearing someone walking into the kitchen Tay's body instinctively stiffened when she caught the scent of the man who her wolf wanted as her mate, "I'll be out of your way in a second" Tay said as she kept her back to him. She didn't want him of all people to see the state she was in, Tay could remember when she was younger and one of the other pack members had purposefully hurt her when they were play fighting and he had gotten angry at the other before making sure she was okay. Picking up her plate and water bottle Tay ducked her head down more trying to make sure her hair fell in her face as much as possible as she turned her body towards him and started to head out of the kitchen but stopped when she realised he was in the doorway, "Mind moving?" she asked softly.
