Explosions and love? (OmuYasha)

"A type of...deer?" InuYasha muttered.

"Venison is deer" InuGenki explained. He looked towards Eve as she questioned pulling her gun out. "I can provide you of all of the nourishment you'll need. Save your advanced technology for less trivial things. Just tell me what you want, and I'll find it for you" he told her.

"Can I try venison? Sounds yummy actually" InuYasha asked.

"How do you know it's yummy?" InuGenki asked.

"Because you think it's yummy" InuYasha replied.

"Alright, and for you, Eve? You want the same?" InuGenki asked.

" a type of dear." She said bluntly then she checked on her clothing and saw that it was still wet, which slightly upset her. Of course she took a deep breath and didn't wanted to bring up the subject.

"Mm, I haven't had any meat in a while... I'll eat anything available. If needed I can go out and hunt for a dear of some sort of large beast?" She questioned pulling her gun out.

InuYasha smiled at her when she started to pet behind his ears. "Yeah, but you're stuck here with us! It can't be all bad" he told her.

InuGenki made a face. "Well, I'm not entirely sure if this is going to work, but It's only like a ten minute flight back. We'll go over there in the morning. Right now, I just need a nap and to relax" he said before his stomach began to growl. "Oh...hey...what do you feel like eating?"

"Beef!" InuYasha shouted.

"It's always the Bulls with you eh? Ever try venison?" InuGenki asked.

"What's venison?" InuYasha asked cutely.

Eve was silent for a moment, but then she crossed her arms like before and then spoke up. "I belive I might be able to do what you suggested.. however I'm not to sure." She paused and then she returned to petting inuyasha behind the ears again. "Whatever you wish to do I'll follow, I'm stuck here anyway." She said bluntly.

That clever bastard InuGenki indeed hit a soft spot, and perhaps he cracked that shell of hers. It was not something to point out to her. It would not do him any good to make her feel shame from opening up.

InuYasha cocked his head at her. "Ma...Nev?" he asked her in confusion.

InuGenki scratched at the back of his head when she asked him what their next course of action was. "Well, we have my main quest of finding the rainbow pearls, but...I have a hunch about something. Humor me a little with this, but...I want to see if you can sense the Shikon Jewel. I suspect that the orb you saw might be it, and it was the reason why you were dragged here into this time" he proposed to her. If he were any other man in this era, there would have been a lot of misogynistic comments or behaviors, but he was introduced to some very powerful women. "Do you have any objections to us doubling back?" He asked.

Infact the full demon hit a soft spot on her heart and there she couldn't say no, she didn't want to leave this child alone and maybe she can teach him how to kill and other such things. She continued to pet him behind his small dog ears. "Good boy." For once there was a sense of kindness in her voice, normally there would be no emotion behind her voice but this time there was.

"Call me Ma or Ma Nev, little one." She enjoyed the compliment he gave her and she couldn't help but smile from under her mask. This felt very weird to her, she is speed to showing no emotion or even giving the love to people. This small half demon only mad her happy. She remain silent for a moment then she crossed both her arms under her breast and cleared her throat. "Anyway, what is the next plan of action from here on out?" She questioned InuGenki using her emotionless voice once again.

InuGenki smiled when she asked when she became InuYasha's mom. "Well, you're the only female here, and you have better knowledge of the human way of doing things. Who else would be better than to teach in where that I lack. What do you think InuYasha?"

"Yea! She can be...uh, what did you call her?" InuYasha asked.

"A mother figure...you know mother like but not replace your actual mother" InuGenki explained.

"I like that! She's pretty...and she strong! I can tell" InuYasha complimented her.

InuGenki crossed his arms over his chest and huffed. "You aren't stuck with us...you can always abandon us at anytime" he stated before he looked at her carefully. He smirked at her. "You can't abandon him can you?" he asked.

InuYasha looked up at Eve with happiness. "I don't know what a gun is, but sure" he said.

She just shrugged and then placed her military clothing on the rock near the fire to warm faster. "I won't kill you, also wait.. when did I became the mom?" She paused not expecting to have this responsibility on her shoulders already. She was just about to disagree with whag the male demon said but she retracted her statement and didn't bother to speak up. Instead she sat over to the young boy and finished what InuGenki stated. "I can, teach you how to remain calm, and use your words to scare your enemies. All you need is guidance, since I'm stuck with you both I will be your guidance... just don't be in my way when I'm using my guns." She added gently placing her hand on his head. "Good boy?" She questioned gently rubbing behind his dog ears.

InuGenki kept his face serious. "I may be useful to you now, but everything eventually loses their usefulness. Especially if they are no longer needed when a goal is achieved. I've seen this happen before" he muttered.

InuYasha frowned. "Big Brother! You can blow things up...I think she'll always need you for something" he said.

InuGenki thought a moment, and he chuckled at this. "I guess...I don't know if she cares about the things that I do...not after that tsunami I made" he said.

InuYasha snickered. "Can she stay with us?"

InuGenki sighed and nodded. "Yea, she can stay with us. You still need a mother figure. I know I'll have to admit that I'm not the perfect parent or that I know what I'm doing..."

InuYasha interrupted. "I think you've been doing great in keeping me safe...and fed...and warm. What else is there that I need?" he asked.

InuGenki ran his fingers through his hair, and he glanced over at Eve. "I'm pretty sure that she has a few ideas what you need" he spoke loud enough for her to hear.

She checked some of her amo and the amount she has in each gun. She has quite alot followed by some enhanced plasma amo magazines. She counted and so far the only issue was she didn't have alot, not for every gun as she wanted. She paused for a moment she stopped counting and turned to the full demon and continued to speak.

"The human like demons where always a struggle to fight... some were on our side.. others well.. we had to use, this." She reloaded a thin long snipper rifle with a purple scope on the end of the barrel. " with the right experience gun smith, any user can head shot moving target and kill it on sight." She smirked behind her helmet proud of this gun she has in her possession. She stopped cleaning her gun and turned to him as her tone changed sounding slightly serious. "Why would I kill someone useful? It take a special kind of stupid to kill someone useful especially one with a child. I follow a code, Sir Genki." She finished whay she wanted to say and returned to doing her cleaning. She stopped once again and stood up from the ground to go over to the clothing and armor she set on some rocks to dry.

InuGenki stared at the centipede demon, and he smirked. "Feh, those things aren't so tough. An Iron Reaver Soul Stealer will turn them into ribbons!" He spoke proudly of his strength. He crossed his arms over his chest and pointed to himself. "Maybe I should go there and straighten things out" he muttered.

"Big Brother...didn't you just say that using the jewel to travel through time was a bad idea?" InuYasha asked.

"Oh? You really do listen, don't you?" InuGenki called him out. He soon scratched at the back of his head. "Okay, so...human like demons usually have a lot of power...talking from experience here" he told her before he raised an eyebrow. "Say...you aren't going to try to kill me in my sleep, are you?" he asked.

Using the same paper but on the other side she then started to draw what she remembered of what this monster looked like.

The drawing is of a long centipede with many arms but the upper half is of a man with odd looking eyes and a sliced open mouth down the middle of its face. Some of these legs are large which can be seen in the drawing. Even then drew the orb in the center of this monsters chest. She pointed at the middle of the drawing and then explained. "We didn't lose eye contact with the beast, our job was to kill it as soon as possible. We blew up the creature but the second we did this.. a large black hole opened sucking my entire unit into this world.. well.. parts of them." She sounded cold and emotionalless once again when she spoke about the people she lost. Before she could say any more she then added. "Some demons looks like this, others looked human like. In a sense."

InuGenki was trying to piece things together, and he thought more about it. "Could you show me what these demons looked like? And could you show me who possessed this orb?" he asked. He scratched at the back of his head. "What happened to this orb when you defeated this creature? Did it travel with you? Please don't tell me that you broke eye contact with it" he asked her. He was beginning to be like InuYasha being full of questions. These were more of concern over the grand scheme of things instead of the trivial.

"Based on what I saw they did suddenly came from the ground.. I don't know how else to explain it.. they came out and started to attack random people during the invasion and take over their bodies at one point.. as for the glowing orb.." she paused for a moment and digged into her bag pulling our a small note book and a ink pen. She made a click sound from the ink pen and started to draw it out. After a quick rough sketch she then flipped it over to him and showed him. Whay he saw was a very close drawing of the jewel he was speaking about. Once she showed him the drawing she returned to cleaning and drying her guns.

InuGenki looked at her curiously. "Okay, hold on...so an invasion occurs, and then somehow, demons get involved? That just doesn't make sense to me. Demons don't just suddenly come up from the ground randomly. What was their motivation? Where they summoned?" he asked her. He looked down at the ground. "A glowing orb you say?...Can you describe this glowing?" he asked.

There was a moment of silence from her end. For once she didn't expected to be asked the question as to why and how her world became the way it is. Cleaning one of her larger guns being a snipper rifle. She let out a deep sigh and then spoke up.

"It started with a pitty land dispute, rather, one of the large nations did somthing so idiotic, that caused a few other nations to come in and fix the stupidity that the nation did.. the nation invalid a peaceful neutral nation just to take control of it.. they fought back... they lost... then we where called in to help the neutral nation. This war lasted for a year.. untill.. large demons suddenly appeared from the ground. Attacking and killing anyone that they saw as an easy target. My unite was called to go forth and hunt down this monsters and kill them for the other higher ranks to fight in the front." She paused and stopped cleaning her gun for a moment.

"There was this large beast with many arms and a glowing orb in its chest, attacking my unit, of course we blew it up only to suck my entire unit here.. and I being the only survive." She remain silent for a moment as she continued to clean her weapons.

InuGenki took in a deep breath and sighed heavily. "Very well" he muttered. InuYasha looked a bit panicked as he not sure what were going to happen to him. InuGenki sighed. "I guess I'm not making sense...or...maybe you all are skeptical" he said. He glanced over at Eve and sighed. "Eve, what happens in your timeline? What causes things to be so...chaotic?" he asked.

((Finaly got off work.))

Eve raised an eye brow from behind her mask confused as to why he was mad at her for, all she did was suggest ideas and more so question it's true powers. After hearing such power from a jewel such as this she became curious at the same time cautious. At the end of the day she is a human, not as strong or durable like a demon, nor is she capable enough to handle such power. She was quiet for a moment and then she responding to him. "Im thinking of the possibility of returning to my world, as a solder it is my duty to protect and contain. I'm a specialist in my craft, so loosing me in the military is a small loss. I'm not idiotic to hold, or use a powerful artifact with out the knowledge and the strength to hand its true power." Her tone of voice was way softer then before but it still lack some sort of emotion.

She stood up and walked over to her pile of weapons and started to clean, and check each one to see if it's still useful or in working order. As she did this she listen carefully whay the others were saying in the background.

InuGenki gave her a strange look about if the jewel could travel through time, which he was quick to make a very astute observation. "Well, if you traveled through time, then it's very possible that the jewel can. Hell, there could be many of them in different timelines if you think about it. Here's the caveat though. The jewel is not mobile...meaning that someone or something that is able to carry the jewel would have to do the traveling through space and time" he said before he crossed his arms over his chest and scowled at her. "Have you been listening to me Eve? You are thinking about using the Jewel and traveling back to your original time, aren't you?" he asked.

"I was thinking about using it to become a full fledged demon!" InuYasha said.

"Of course...so...you are just going to let the jewel exploit that? I can help you get a taste of what having your demon power awakened feels like!" InuGenki said standing up.

"No! Please Milord! You'll destroy his soul if you awaken his demon side!" Myoga shouted.

Eve made a gentle bow thanking Riku for the clothing, it felt nice and well made for a kimono. Now that she think about it she has never worn a kimono before, a first for everything. Deep down she felt bad for the man, maybe some day she would like to get to know him since she is stuck here for however long. Letting out a deep sigh from behind her mask she sat down next to the fire being close to InuGenki to listen to this story.

The way he spoke about the power of this jewel reminded her of the Ying and yang. One side being evil and the other pure. Lost in her own thoughts a jewel with such power is nothing to laugh at which does give her concern for what it can do, if the user made the correct wish. Then a thought came up in the back of her head but she waited to ask the question once he was done with his explaining. She crossed her arms close to her chest as she watched the demon male very closely. When she heard the cursed weapon speak the female spoke up. "We have a few cursed items and weapons in our world as well, and do the same exact thing. Hello, odd sword, it's to bad your anger is the only thing that fills you." She said calmly before turning to InuGenki. "Sir Genki, about this artifact can it travel through space and time? Almost what we call a black hole, turning space into time and time into space controlling any dark matter into collapsing on itself?" She questioned

Riku smiled at Eve and flicked at his earring. An extravagant and beautiful kimono materialized around her body. "This is an example of what the rainbow pearls can do. A gift to you, Madame" he told her. InuGenki and InuYasha were finally given some nice kimonos as well.

InuGenki smirked. "Look! Free clothes! Nice ones too. Thank you, Riku!"

"Thank you, Riku!" InuYasha shouted.

InuGenki slapped Riku in the back being friendly. "You're a good guy" he told him.

Riku looked down at the ground. Was he the enemy? He was very confused with how InuGenki treated him. He was used to the emotional abuse that he had received from Zero and Kirinmaru. He was conflicted as he felt like he was being spoken to by the Great Dog Demon himself. "Thank you...you're...a good friend" Riku finally said. He looked back at him and something about him cracked a little. He clenched his teeth already hearing Kirinmaru speaking to him firmly to get back to the ship. He waved at them before he flew off.

InuGenki crossed his arms over his chest and sighed. "He's been through a lot" he told them. He was not going to go through all the details with Riku. "Well, let's gather around the fire, and I'll tell you all about the Shikon Jewel" he said as he walked.

"What do you mean he's been through a lot?" InuYasha asked him. He was expecting that InuGenki was going to give him that, you'll know when you are older, cop out, but this time he was pleasantly surprised.

"Riku is complicated...like more people. He has his loyalties, he has his ethics, and he has his needs...right now...what he needs conflicts with what his loyalties are" InuGenki explained.

"What does he need?" InuYasha asked.

"He needs a friend...he needs to be given value and self-worth. He kind of reminds me of you in some ways" InuGenki spoke honestly and truthfully. He made the fire get bigger and he rolled a log over for them to sit on. "Now, so the Shikon jewel...well there's a dangerous artifact" he said as InuYasha quietly hoped onto the log. He liked InuGenki's stories, and he looked towards Eve wondering if she would sit by him. InuGenki held out his hand and a ball of magenta energy similar in size to the jewel itself hovered over his palm. "The Shikon Jewel is an artifact created from the souls of Priestess Midoriko and countless demons. Their spiritual power and demon power were condensed into is. This jewel can provide power to both people and demons who possess it instead of exclusively to demons such as the Rainbow pearls. Inside the jewel Midoriko and the demons continue the battle inside the jewel. An endless loop of violence. Depending on its user's soul, the Shikon Jewel's characteristics may be good or bad. When the jewel is pure being held by ones with pure heart, it turns a soft pink color with "Naohi" the goodness within, represented by Midoriko, meaning she is winning. While the jewel is held tainted by the soul of an evil/greedy human or yōkai, it turns a lurid black-violet the evil within, represented by Magatsuhi or the Demon, meaning he is winning. The only way for the battle to truly be over is to make the right wish upon the jewel; however, the jewel will tempt the user...corrupt their mind in a way to preserve itself. Just as it had Lady Zero. You must truly understand the power before you use it...because it can easily use you" He told them.

He extended his hand out to towards his blade, and the blade floated up and flew towards him like some sort of Jedi force trick. InuGenki caught Sounga by the hilt, and he held it out in front of them. He was very stern and wanted to get the point across to InuYasha. "Objects can carry curses...Objects can have malicious spirits attached to them...objects can use people" he said implying that his sword was also one of these objects. "Strong Discipline, Resolve, and Will can overpower them. However...beings with that power are hard to come by. Objects who exploit to cause chaos need to be destroyed InuYasha...it is our responsibility to maintain peace" InuGenki muttered before he pulled Sounga from Saya, and InuYasha and Eve could hear the cursed demon sword.

"How dare you use me as a prop!" The demon sword shouted.

"You make a good visual aid for cursed objects" InuGenki said simply.

"Fuck you! Fuck you and your whole accursed lineage!" the demon sword spewed out more venom, before InuGenki sheathed his sword.

"Yea...he's mad that he can't possess me" InuGenki stated.

Eve stook a step away from Inugenki and listen carefully to the answer he gave her question. She took him as much information as she could. The first thought came to her head was, pirets are in the world? Well that's interesting. The second was the power of this said pearls, now thay she got some what of an understanding of these pearls but at the same time it's not her problem.

She spoke up loud and proud, "it's nice to meet you, I am... well.. what they call me Eve." The female was just about to say her unite rank and number like she has done many times before, however this time she stopped herself. She calmly sat down near a clean rock surface near the fire to dry off. "At this moment I have no clothing, or anything to cover up. My attire is drying as we speak, unless you have something for me to wear." She questioned the new person thay entered the springs. When the male demon asked about the Shikon jewel she just shrugged and then bluntly said. "Go ahead." She said calmly.

Riku stopped hearing a beautiful woman's voice, and he turned around to see the golden skinned goddess. He immediately glared at InuGenki annoyed with the luck he had. "Do you have the Green Pearl up that..." he muttered before he rubbed his forehead. "Oh forget it" he said before he looked towards Eve. He flashed her a smile and took a bow. "My name is Riku, milady. I am a pirate" he told her before he shown her the red pearl. "This is a rainbow pearl. There are 7 of them in total. They are said to amplify a demon's power a magnitude of ten times. Each also grants a special power. No one knows what would happen if all seven are collected and used"

"I know what would happen" InuGenki said.

Riku glared at him. "Oh, and what do you purpose will happen? If you're so smart"

"Well, If the Shikon Jewel was the one to create the pearls to begin with, then it's safe to assume that all seven Rainbow Pearls are less than or equal to the Shikon jewel. So let's say that the amplifier to all seven rainbow pearls together would be 1 with 7 zeros" InuGenki said before he drew it in the sand. 10,000,000" he explained his theory.

Riku stared at him then he looked down at the number. "Lord InuGenki? Do you know what would happen if a Demon got a hold of that power?"

"Something about bring the degenerate age or something like that" InuGenki muttered. He shook his head at him. "I'm more worried about the Grim Comet showing its ugly head again. This is small stuff in the grand scheme of things"

Riku again was not sure whether to take InuGenki seriously as he got burned many times before, but his logic sort of made sense. "You're okay with me having this pearl?"

InuGenki nodded. "Yup"

"Why?" Riku asked.

"You want Zero to be happy. You and I both know what happened to her, so let's not pretend that we don't believe she made a stupid wish on the Shikon jewel" InuGenki told him.

Riku looked down at the ground. "Her grief for losing your father is was made her do this"

"I know" InuGenki said before he looked towards Eve. "So...I bet you're going to ask me about the Shikon Jewel next" he spoke up proudly.

"How about you put your clothes on...you're in the presence of a Lady" Riku suggested.

Eve walked away for a moment to get some sort of cover up. Unfortunately she couldn't find anything so she just remain close to the fire to warm up with her back facing away from the new person. Quickly she grabbed her black helmet and placed it over her head to cover her face up. Slowly standing up she covered her breast and lower groain with her arms and walked over to see what was going on.

In her normal cold tone she spoke, "who is this? And what is this rainbow pearl?" She questioned keeping her arms pressed to her body. Even with her arms covering her body everyone can still see her tan skin, lashes curves and toned body.

"Uh...cover up?" InuGenki asked.

"Big Bother can make a fire really quick" InuYasha said.

"Yup...I make fire real good..." InuGenki told them proudly.

He walked out totally not caring to cover up, and he leaped up near a snag shouting, "Iron Reaver Soul Stealer!" He thrashed his claws out, and half of the dead tree was not only cut in half, but InuGenki thrashed his other claws turning the log into fire wood.

"Yea! You gonna show me how to do that big brother!" InuYasha shouted.

InuGenki caught movement in the corner of his eye as he floated in the air. "Are you stalking me again?"

Riku walked out from the bushes and put his hands onto his knees panting. "Wow, I almost died. Either you're incredibly lucky, or you've been watching me this whole time" he muttered.

"I can sense your aura Riku...Kind of made that more obvious when I got some of that fragrance wiped off your feet. I definitely knew it was you" InuGenki said before he started laughing.

Riku balled his fists up and closed his eyes realizing that InuGenki played him. "You clever motherfucker..." he muttered under his breath. He calmed himself down. "Please, Lord InuGenki...you did secure the red rainbow pearl...did you not?" he asked.

"Up my butt" InuGenki said.

"Is that why I couldn't find it!?" Riku shouted.

"I'm sorry? I had water in my ears...But I thought you said that you couldn't find it? Like...were you looking through my clothes?" InuGenki asked as he put his finger in his dog ear and twisted back and forth.

Riku smacked himself in his forehead and groaned. "InuGenki...please don't tell me you stuck it...placed it there?"

InuGenki smirked at him. "How am I supposed to hide it when I'm bathing?" he asked. While Riku was not looking InuGenki landed by a rock and picked up a pearl. With a sleight of hand, InuGenki simulated pulling the pearl from...well Riku saw him pull it out and show it to him.

Riku's face turned bright red. "That's absolutely disgusting!" he shouted at him.

InuYasha laughed at him. "He had it under a rock you dummy!" InuYasha shouted.

"Oh thank goodness..." Riku muttered sighing a bit of relief. He reached up and caught the pearl when InuGenki chucked it at him.

"Say hi to Lord Kirinmaru for me" InuGenki said with a sly smirk.

"Yes...He'll be amused with your practical joke" Riku muttered before he glanced towards InuYasha. "Well, I see that you have adopted your half demon brother"

"I bet Kirinmaru can't guess what I'm training him to do" InuGenki muttered.

"And I think you just pissed him off now" Riku then said.

"You all know what I'm all about" InuGenki answered.

"I wouldn't advise pissing him off" Riku warned him. "Just why are you helping me?"

"Heh, because I'm bored" InuGenki said, which Riku's brow furrowed becoming skeptical with him.

"Right...this is some big joke to you is it?" Riku asked.

"Isn't life a big joke?" InuGenki asked him.

Riku pointed towards InuYasha and asked him, "Is his life a big joke to you?"

"You know I'm being facetious right?" InuGenki said.

Riku started rubbing his head getting very frustrated. "I've got a great headache right now"

"Got a hot spring! That'll relax you" InuGenki said.

"You're exhausting!" Riku said.

"I know...I get that a lot. How's Zero?" InuGenki asked.

Riku turned and started to walk off. "She is doing well. She would like to have tea with you sometime. I don't know why, but she still likes you"

"Wow...that sounds really nice" InuGenki stated.
