Sen rolled his eyes to the comment about fear not really wanting to give it any mind or effort. At least until she brought up acting like a savage and just using it as a front, "Maybe it's just different from how I think. If it was me, I'd put a 'mindless savage' under constant surveillance with as many restraints as possible to keep him from breaking anything. Personal experience, you can get away with a lot by acting placid or appealing to someone else's better nature than you would attempting to tear anything apart if they got within arms reach. Keep them seeing a peaceful side while you quietly analyze and plan out. Of course. You probably know all about that wouldn't you. You seem like the type that would keep everyone seeing one side while trying to get your way."

Daxa crossed her legs and leaned forward while she gained an understanding of how Kaz's culture, even if the thought seemed fairly barbaric in relation to other groups that she had gone along with, "I'm not going to lie to you, that is some of the most archaic rituals and thought processes that I have ever heard. My opinion, you made the right call not offing yourself and ridding this timeline of you." She then lowered her eyes to where she assumed his heart was and thought about the earlier conversation, "Would removing it be some kind of horrendous taboo or is there something else involved in all that?" She asked tapping one of her feet to the steel floor, "I wouldn't inadvertently be getting married or anything would I?"

Mavis only smiled and nodded at him. "Why you scared of her?" she teased him before she twirled around facing away from him. "If you think about it, he's playing a very convincing mindless savage act...don't you think? You know, if they thought he was smart, wouldn't they have placed in in isolation or had better surveillance? Just remember a lot of stupid people try to act smarter than they actually are. I can tell when someone's pretending to be stupid. Think about it a little..." she mentioned.

Kaz sat down on a chair and sighed trying to find a way to describe his culture. "Our people believe that it's worse to be taken prisoner than it is to die in battle. In our history, our wars were up against not the most honorable of foes. They subject us to a plethora of inhumane treatments and torture. Most of us would die anyway...so it was determined that the most elite warriors would have a bomb implanted in them to deter us from being taken. We have been taught to either take out our enemy with us or hide out technology from our enemies. It has gotten very far form those kamikaze days" he said before he reflected on when he got his. "I was supposed to detonate mine, but I changed my mind. My people think I was a coward in doing so..." he mumbled.

Sen scowled then with a deep breath cooled himself off before he could do anything relatively stupid, "I wasn't about to ask him all the elaborate details of his escape from a high security facility while we were in the process of escaping and trying not to cause a stir while he was already volatile." Then a casual shrug of his shoulders, "Eh. I don't think your, sister?, would appreciate you talking about her boyfriend like that behind both their backs." Then came that tone and he froze in his tracks, "Yeah." He muttered just keeping his eye focused on that little girl, "It mean anything to you?"

Daxa rolled her eyes when he mentioned being locked in the holodeck, "I can deal with people fine so long as I don't have to directly deal with them outside of a work sense." She clarified those when she walked inside the room and took a seat at the desk, "If you have anything pressing to deal with then I won't keep you, but you did have me fairly curious on the whole, cultural bomb in your chest thing. Can't quite say I've ever met a species with that almost suicidal tendency."

Mavis tapped her finger to her chin. "Gosh, brute force is all you need to get past even the most advanced technologies? Who knew" she said innocently although it sounded very condescending and sarcastic. She put her hands behind her back and spun around cutely. "Wow mister you must be really good at negotiations. To think a meat head like him would have any brains to figure out ripping guy bad and then have the restraint?" she said in that same tone but her attitude shifted into a jarring serious tone. "He's Genetically Modified...is he not?" she reminded him.

Kaz continued to scratch his head. "But something so simple though?" he mumbled. He shrugged his shoulder. "Err, um...if you want to avoid people, you could just lock yourself in the halodeck" he said simply. They arrived to her quarters, which he then crossed his arms over his chest. "So then what? You want me to leave you here or show you something else?" he muttered.

Sen once more looked down seeing that smirk and a small shiver slid its way up his spine, "I had assumed he just brute forced his way out like his MO seems to be right about now." Of course when Mavis brought up his escape, he just rolled with it, "I convinced the our guy to get the attention of a guard, knock him out, stole the guard's uniform and after that just walked out with my gear. Had to convince him that ripping the guy open was a bad idea. Nothing really worth a big story."

Daxa chuckled at the questioning, "Kaz, I like to keep myself well rounded when it comes to tech, engineering and cybernetics. The more I can do, the more I keep myself busy. The more I keep myself busy, the less I have to think about people." The quick answer fired back almost amused by the head scratching while he tried to get a grip on how she worked.

Mavis shrugged her shoulders, but she smirked evilly. "I mean he has exploited a lot of security flaws that we had. Makes you wonder how he escaped that Genetics lab...don't it?" she asked. She shook her head and sighed. "How did you manage to escape that prison anyway?" she asked.

Kaz stared at her in disbelief. "More equipment? I thought you just wanted to go to engineering?" he asked. He scratched his head. "Isn't cloning a simple tech not worth your time?" he asked.

Sen, noticing the extra effort that Mavis had to exert, slowed himself down in an act that actually seemed to put a bit of strain with how much he had to slow himself down for Mavis to keep up, "If the new guy doesn't keep his cool and keep himself under control, that isn't likely to happen. Unless this replacement is meant to be someone else I haven't met yet." He glanced down catching more than an unsettling amount of similarities between Lily and this girl, one he wasn't about to bring up right that moment.

Daxa raised an eye brow with the new rumors now spreading faster and faster about the captain on board, "If that is the case, then this trip is going to be a lot more interesting while we're here." With hope they'd approach her quarters soon, "Of course if that girl is a clone, then there's certainly more equipment on board that I'd like to take a look at. Once I'm settled in of course, no need to rush everything and burn myself out before I even get on my assigned work."

Mavis looked between them curiously guessing what sort of relationship that Sen and Daxa had. She quickly shifted her attention to just Sen as he addressed her, and she walked with him. She looked up at him as her height was only at his hip, and she had to move her legs faster as she tried to keep up. She had a strong resemblance to the captain, perhaps a family member. She shrugged her shoulders at his question. "He's been worse now that he's all butthurt being replaced" she answered.

Kaz was not sure what was going on when Daxa grabbed him. "Uh okay?" he muttered in confusion, but he lead the way to her quarters. "You shouldn't listen to Mavis...she's the Captain's clone. She plays up her innocence very well. After all that's what evil kid genius's are like" he warned her. He shook his head. "I have heard that the Captain is a Shapeshifter class alien, and she wanted a child so bad that she impregnated herself with a clone" he explained.

Sen instinctively pirouetted off the ball of his foot to step around the new comer to the conversation, keeping his back from being exposed in the process. The idea that this big security officer had a flair for the overblown was amusing, but it still didn't really install any confidence in the idea that he was any more safe in his current situation.

Daxa, before Sen could interject again, cleared her throat, "Perhaps we should avoid clogging up this hallway any further, maybe avoid choking on anything in the process." She grabbed at Kaz's arm with a deceptively firm grip in an effort to make Sen's attitude worse, "Perhaps we can split off in twos. I still need to know where I'm resting up and properly setting up shop."

Sen, catching the less than subtle motion for separation, glanced at Mavis then in a more practiced motion tipped an imaginary hat to the female, "A pleasure miss." He stated as Daxa tried pulling Kaz away from the group, "Kaz typically the paranoid type, or just around the new guys?" He asked taking the more natural posture with his hands in his pockets with the hope that a change in topic would elevate his mood in some way.

Kaz nodded but smirked. "Yea, but such is life is it not?" he mumbled. He shrugged his shoulders to Sen's question. "Who knows...are you a pawn or are you something more valuable? Just ask yourself that. I just make myself seem useful. To be honest, a lot of the accidents are who you and society may consider the bottom of the barrel or something scraped off as much" he said before he laughed. "Heh, She doesn't break her promise. She does have a way to get you out of your hole" he joked.

They were met with a crew member who appeared super young, and she looked up at them amused. "Telling stories about the captain are we?" she asked. Kaz grew irritated with her. "They aren't stories, Mavis!" he shouted. Mavis laughed at him. "Everything is a conspiracy to you. Last week you thought someone tried to kill you because there was a bone in your chicken drumstick" she remarked.
Kaz growled at her. "They did!" he shouted. Mavis rolled her eyes at him. "I would take things with a grain of salt with him. He tends to stretch truths and embellish things just to be dramatic" she warned them. Kaz's eye twitched. "Don't you have some abacus to play with?" he shouted.

The look both the newcomers offered didn't change the more Kaz explained the situation, "You aren't filling us with much confidence in this whole ordeal." Daxa answered back now staring straight forward and looking to see where the crew quarters were and making a mental map of the area so she wouldn't get lost in the halls.

"This whole set up is one hell of a piece of work." Sen commented tucking his hands in his pockets, "So what are the odds there's already a plan to off me after my incident on the bridge. You know, when I originally thought this crew ran on loyalty instead of blackmail and extortion? My cybernetics magically turn off along with all my vitals, I get thrown into the warp core?" He started giving scenarios given the little bit of information regarding his new crew

Kaz nodded in agreement in response to having to clean things up. "You and I both" he commented. He shook his head at Daxa. "N-no, It's never going to be that explicit, but last couple of runs, some guys were eaten by a creature while doing recon, one was irradiated, two were captured by natives and executed for stealing, most of them it were situations that appeared to be by their own doing. The captain will make the scenario, and she know of their incompetence...you get what I mean?" he explained.

Both Sen and Daxa turned their heads to Kaz with a deadpan expression with the new knowledge that this crew was practically run by people under coercion by their captain, "I'd say it's a pretty bad scene if you bring in a specific guy on board just to prevent a mutiny and if it happens anyway there is going to be a lot of blood to wash off the walls. And I sure as hell ain't doing that." Sen added in.

Daxa shook her heard hearing about the possibility of an "accident", "So watch for potential captain sponsored assassination on the crew too. This mission is definitely looking to be a perfect score." She added in losing even more of an enthusiastic look on her face, "Oh how I love the places I somehow drag myself into."

Kaz made a so-so hand gesture. "More or less I would say. Either they were blackmailed, bribed, or manipulated in some other way. For me, I was supposed to be dead. I was the fall guy for a botched weapons deal. Lilly has the evidence to clear my name, but there was a quid pro quo of course" he told them before he took in a deep breath. "No, she's very good at getting what she wants. Though I reckon she's going to use this Wolf guy to dissuade a mutiny. Don't let her trick you into thinking she's an airhead. You'll play into her grand scheme a lot easier." he told them before he took the gun. He looked at the gun and sighed feeling less useful. "I just hope I won't get exed off through some...accident" he told them.

Sen arched an eye brow while the synthetic eye seemed to whir as though processing this new bit of information. It was an odd idea that Lily would have subjected most of the crew to a 'deal' that was possibly worse than his situation.

Daxa, not wanting Sen to open his mouth again, spoke in the more calm manner, "So your crew is, by a currently unknown amount, more or less blackmailed into the crew. It's honestly a wonder that your group has held itself down as long as it has." She in turn crossed her arms over her chest fairly easily keeping pace with the two men next to her, "Your captain is either a tactical genius, or an air head. No offense intended."

Sen in turn reached into his pocket and reassembled the pistol Kaz had given him for the exercise, "Oh. And I believe this belongs to you." He mentioned not wanting to get heated up again. Kaz would notice the power cell held separate from the weapon itself.

Kaz stared at Sen and thought to himself before he nodded slowly to Daxa's request, "Sure, sure" he said. He lead the way out of the halodeck onto the corridor. While he escorted them to their quarters, he sighed heavily. "You know...there are some people who were given a false choice into joining this crew. It doesn't scream out loyalty would it not? They are just paying attention to the dangling carrot...if you know what I mean" he postulated not sure if he could get across their situation.

(Sorry, just been in a very negative head space lately. Like severe injury that will probably kill my employment and I haven't had stable income in a month bordering homelessness kind of headspace)

Sen glanced back at Kaz then scratched at his head, "I'm an ass to potential boot lickers and after hearing that anyone in your crew would rat anyone else out for any reason, I have no reason not to suspect anyone and everyone of being a boot licker." He answered keeping an eye on Kaz with one eye that shifted independent of the other.

Daxa, seeing that Wolfie and Lilly were likely to need some time to talk things over, shifted her attention with an almost sly grin to Kaz, "Well, it was just a suggestion. If you'd rather have an explosive implant in your chest then I'll leave that to you. If it's that much of a cultural thing then leave it in there." She added in placing a hand on her hip, "So, with your captain busy. Show us to our quarters?"

Wolfie released Kaz and snorted at Sen. "I ain't gunna blow anyone up..." he muttered; although, it was more for Lilly's ears. Lilly was slightly annoyed with him, but she was not going to stop him. "Are you naturally just an ass to everyone?" she asked. Wolfie scowled at her. "So you are only going to look past the other forty people I passed by? If that shit stain could only shut his mouth, I would have left" he muttered. Lilly glanced over at Daxa and glared at her. "You don't have to call him my boy toy out in public. I don't think he likes that" she muttered. "Hmph, I don't care! Not like anyone has treated me like a person before" Wolfie said gruffly. Lilly frowned, but she felt guilty for using him for sex so far. She was going to have to make it up to him. Kaz scratched the back of his head at Daxa. "What makes you think that this thing isn't a dud?" he asked not understanding what she was offering. Lilly stopped Wolfie from walking out the door, and she gave him a look. He looked back at her uncomfortably, but he did not resist her.

Sen took a few deep breaths when once more things just didn't seem to work out since he got on this ship. Just a few breaths to cool himself off and he simply just started to walk off, "Just show me where I'm sleeping so I can get today over with" He spoke up showing absolutely no interest in this so called team building exercise, "I'll probably feel better if I sleep on something over than a rock hard cot." He finished off just staring out the door, "And wolf guy, don't blow us up."

Daxa, seeing the look in the cyborg's eye and catching a few irritated twitches as the optical sensor unnatural shifted about. It was just a tell she picked up on after having been a mechanic, on him specifically, "It's been a long day. Maybe a good idea for everyone to cool down before being stuck in a room for a few hours." She added in looking up at Wolfie with something of a worried expression wondering how bad Sen was triggered in the last hour, "And I'm sure that your boy toy wouldn't mind joining you after how enthusiastic you spoke about him." Her eye then glanced to Kaz, "And if you want or need that removed, I can offer a surgical removal."

Kaz looked towards Sen and snorted. "Feh, we can take him. You're weapons are operational are they not?" he asked. Wolfie got the wind knocked out of him, but he only seemed to stare them both down...well mostly at Kaz. Kaz did not like the look Wolfie gave him. "Whoa! You fight is with him! He challenged you to a duel! It is dishonorable to back out of a challenge!" he shouted. Wolfie narrowed his eyes upon him. "You challenged me first. What does that make you for having someone finish that fights you started?" he asked. Kaz balled his fist in anger and took a step forwards eyes wide open. "How dare you call me a coward!" he shouted. Wolfie waved him on. "Come prove it meat shield!" he muttered. Kaz lashed out and ran towards him. Kaz instantly was subdued by Wolfie in a half nelson before he whispered lowly. "Tell me Kaz...is it true that your race surgically implants bombs in all their warriors? I'm curious...wouldn't that bomb take us all out?" he asked. Kaz's eyes widened. "What are you? Are you crazy? It would take down an entire space station!" he shouted. Lilly immediately barged into the halodeck and shouted, "Hey! Wolfie! Bad Wolfie! Don't get us all blown up!" she shouted. Kaz looked back at her annoyed. "Did you tell him about my bomb!?" he shouted. Lilly huffed. "I thought it would keep him from fighting you. He's just bluffing...he better be bluffing if he was smart!" she said before she huffed and crossed her arms over her chest. "Perhaps we need to have a little team building exercise" she said clapping her hands together.

Daxa sighed and rubbed at her forehead as the growing pressure behind her eyes started to grow the more Lilly talked, "If that's how you want to phrase it, then fine. I'm a technophile. Now let's try and get your man out of there before Sen gets more pissed off than I'm sure he already is."

Sen, instead of talking any further, simply stepped between Kaz and Wolfie with an almost murderous look in his eyes, "Kaz, get out of here before you hurt yourself further." He spoke up simply staring Wolfie in the eye. He simply placed a finger tip on the wolf man's chest with a couple deep breaths,"If you want to start a fight, how about I give you one worth talking about." Without much more than a rotation and balling of his fist he impacted Wolfie's solar pelxis with the force of a ground freight transport in the two quarter sized impact zones with his first two knuckles, "If anything. This might be half decent anger management for me right now." He took a boxer's guard with a few taunting jabs, "I'm going to do what I can not to blast a hole through your chest, I don't need your woman throwing me off this ship because I broke her boy toy."

Lilly stuck her tongue out and blew a raspberry at her feeling like she had won the mother load with this guy she was with. "You're just jealous" she teased. She cocked her head and crossed her arms over her chest. "So you are a technophile...I knew it" she said before she snickered to herself. She did not seem too worried for her boyfriend's safety, but she still got up to go over and stop any property from being damaged.

Wolfie stared at Sen and shook his head at his question. "The fuck are you talking about? Either you fight to see another day, or you just die. It's not training it's survival" he grumbled. Kaz glanced over at Sen nervously after realizing this is the real Wolfie. "Tch, he's just a wild animal...he doesn't got any sort of tactics or technique" he mumbled. Wolfie gave him a look and approached him menacingly. "Are you scared? Would you like me to use my own brand of tactics on you?" he growled. Kaz gulped looking towards Sen hoping to be bailed out. Wolfie brandished his claws and held them up to his face. "It's okay to be afraid..." he muttered before the people in the simulation grew very concerned. The computer was beginning to malfunction with Wolfie instigating a fight amongst the players.

Daxa simply glances over the screens and at Lilly with her mention of her new boy toy getting the mythical beats aesthetic, "Whatever generates your warp field." She answered back though did freeze for a second when she was asked about men, "I have more interest in machines. I can understand machines. People confuse me." She answered then stuck herself upright with the mention of her man arriving at the holodeck, "I don't see this ending well."

Sen, having witnessed the wolf murder the hard light projection, seemed to almost grit his teeth, "You train as you fight." He stated simply taking a few heavy steps towards the wolf, faint glows pulsing under his jacket and down to his hands, "Are you familiar with that phrase? Having to take muscle memory into account." He didn't seem to even breath as he approached and was a mere step away, "You would be surprised, how often a stupid decision like that ends up in the real world. Eventually, you'll find something more stubborn and harder to kill than you. Don't let the young face fool you, I've been around once or twice." There was no fear in his face, no caring, just a cold stare that seemed to penetrate his soul.

Lilly giggled to herself and closed her eyes. "I'm afraid it there's more to it than just the fur. That was just a bonus for me for after the deed is done. Hehe, he's got that mythological beast thing I've been looking for" she said before she grinned evilly. "You got a man? Or do you not swing that way" she asked as she shifted her hips. "Just a question...you look to be at that age" she stated. The first officer pinged her and told them both. "Uh, Captain...Your wolfie has entered the holodeck" he announced. Lilly was beside herself and her eye twitched. "How did he figure out how to get in the holodeck?" she mumbled.

Kaz was thoroughly impressed with San's quick work of the robber, but then he saw Wolfie come in, and he grew extremely irritated thinking the computer was mocking him. "Oh that does it! Think you can make a mockery out of me, well do you!?" he shouted before he approached Wolfie. "Of course it has to be you!" he shouted. Wolfie walked past him. "Ignoring me, eh?" he yelled. Wolfie wondered the fictitious bar sniffing about. A man tried to grab him and Wolfie hacked his throat. Their score went down, and Kaz realized it was the real Wolfie. "What the fuck do you think you're doing!? You killed him! You weren't supposed to do that!" he shouted. Wolfie scowled at him. "Why should I care? He wasn't real" he grumbled.
