Taking the note back from him I read it and thought for a minute before writing 'will the teacher let you?' Pausing again I added 'I don't want to be a burden, I just don't want what happened earlier to happen again' looking up as I heard the teacher stop talking she was looking at me. I hid the paper under my notes I had been taking in class, when the teacher asked me what I was doing I told her taking notes. She walked over to my desk and looked at them "you have very neat and well written notes ms...?" Smiling softly I said politely "Sabrina Jones" nodding she went to the front if the class again continuing her lecture. I handed the note back to Chris making sure no one saw, since we were at the back of the class that wasn't hard.

I turned my head forward scratching my neck when I saw her mouthing not to stare at her. He couldn't help it really, just how he reacted. He saw the small movements she made writing her note which he took when she handed it to him which he waited a minute evaluating the situation out especially with how aggressive the primes were towards the few humans that were enrolled in the school. He then wrote under the note, 'do you want me to escort you?' He wrote down comfortable with the idea of being her guardian even if it was just escorting her to the bathroom.

The next time he looked at me I mouthed to him 'stop staring at me' I said still shifting uncomfortably. The teacher turned and asked a few questions, before turning back to the board and writing. I took out a piece of loose leaf paper and wrote on it saying 'I need to go to the bathroom, but I'm scared that something might happen if I do' I passed it to him and waited.

I gave a small chuckle when Sabrina asked if she qualified, "I would say so. You're beautiful, you do get into a little trouble. You're a pretty princess." I said to her before they had left the locker areas in order to get to class. I set himself down in the seat he found with another seat next to me. While the lecture was going on, it seemed to drone on every now and then which I would look to Sabrina every other moment though tried making it look like he didn't when she looked back even if she just about caught me in the act. I just wanted to ask her if she wanted to go out at some point, but I felt so awkward to ask her that the words just couldn't come up when I opened my mouth.

"I need saving a lot" I said laughing "do I qualify?" I said cockily. Smiling at him "true we are humans, and your my protector" I said playfully pushing him "but..." I said quietly running along after him blushing, no guy had ever held her hand before...not that this counted he didn't mean to it was just instinct. But I didn't want to let go. As we got to class we sat next to each other and pulled out our books looking at the board as the teacher started another boring lecture. But I couldn't concentrate I had to keep shifting i was uncomfortable, i kept crossing and uncrossing my legs. I noticed Chris was looking at me funny but I couldn't tell him why,frowning I'd just have to hold it for 80mins, till lunch.

I couldn't help myself to say the line, "I'd say so. And that would make you my princess." it was just what rolled off my tongue when I described myself after I saved her from the brutes from before, "To me, we are pretty much the same. Sure I have a physical advantage, but we are still human." He said to her explaining that he thought of them as equals instead of lording the fact he was super strong for a person. He looked at his watch and his eyes shot open, "We only have a couple minutes to get to class!" He spoke in an excited manner as he took her hand unconsciously and pulled her along to the next class.

I laughed smiling at him "oh your my knight are you?" I said blushing I looked away biting my lip. I liked how he'd said that, I got butterflies from it. I caught his slip up and smiled brightly "I like that you don't treat me differently" I said smiling still "well should we get going?" I asked cutely tilting my head to the side. Walking again "how long we got till class starts?" I asked knowing I had to go soon or I'd have to go alone in the middle of class and I knew that could go badly.

I didn't have any problems having most of my classes with her, it made me feel more or less normal when I saw qnother human in the same classes as me that didn't treat me like I was abnormal even if I was. I was glad classes were over since that meant that I dealt with less of the droning i picked up on in lectures, "Don't feel too afraid. You do have your shining knight right here to keep you safe." I said to Sabrina as I watched over her while she gathered books for next class. When she was done I lead her to my locker contemplating if I should just lug my books and papers around since I could take it, "I don't mind you sitting next to me. I like yo...the fact you don't think I'm weird." I said to her trying not to sound like I was bitten by the love bug.

Sighing I handed his schedule back to him "we have every class but one together" I said quietly "i have gym seventh period but then we have eighth period together again" I said smiling, the bell rang and we grabbed our stuff and headed to our lockers stopping at mine I looked around before opening it "I don't feel safe in the hallways anymore" I said over my shoulder to Chris after I got my stuff for math pure we walked to his locker next I stopped and leaned against the locker next to his "so how do you feel about sitting next to me in our classes?" I asked smiling at him cutely

I was kind of surprised that Sabrina actually liked my birth marks. Most of the primes and human students thought that I was some sort of freak to have birthmarks that looked like tattoos, but this was a nice change of thought instead. I handed Sabrina my class schedule to see if she could make any similarities between our schedules since I really wanted to be around Sabrina a lot more, especially since she liked to be around him and thought he was cool.

"A birthmark, that's really cool actually" I said smiling. Nodding I smiled at him "do you have my next class to?" I asked quietly making sure I didn't look at him. I still want to touch it even after we've talked about it. I'll do it at lunch that's a better time to do it. I smiled an looked at him, taking in his good looks. I could see me being around him a lot more, I blushed and turned forward watching the teacher for the rest of class.

I pointed at the markings that I had which I just let out a small laugh, "Birthmark. A little gift from my old man." I explained to Sabrina as I then jumped up expecting the teacher to be asking me the question that I barely heard which I was slightly relieved that it wasn't me and it was Sabrina, who actually knew the material, that was called so that I didn't look too stupid while I was in class, "Talk more after class?" I whispered keeping a low profile so that our teacher wouldn't hear us again.

I looked at the teacher for a couple seconds, smiling I replied "ok...why do you have that marking in your face" I asked looking back at him, feeling more confident because he wasn't embarrassed about it. He was about to reply when the teacher asked me a question. "List three muscles that are worked when lifting weights" i looked up and saw that we were learning about basic muscles in the body. "The trapezius, biceps, and latissimus dorsi" I said easily "correct" she said looking slightly angry "eyes forward" she said before turning back to the board.

I let a small chuckle when Sabrina mentioned than she was sure I would be knocked out, "I have a harder head than a normal guy. Trust me." I spoke in a lower tone to not disrupt class while I was talking with Sabrina. It was kind of funny that I was so close with her, I just met her and now I'm even starting to feel a bit of an attraction to her, "Sure thing. Ask anything you like. Nothing offends me in the slightest." I explained to Sabrina curious of the question that she had for me especially since I was so willing to tell her anything that she wanted to know about myself

"Yah I thought for sure you were going to be knocked out" I said shivering recalling it. I sat down next to him happy we were partners, I'd rather not be sitting there and have to start talking to another stranger. I felt close to him even though we had just met. I knew I could trust him, I felt safe...I knew he wouldn't hurt me intentionally. Looking at him I smiled softly blushing as he looked at me. "So...ummm I don't want to ask you, but I'm just so curious" I said quietly nodding at his face embarrassed to ask. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to" I said getting even more red.

I couldn't help but to laugh hearing her ask about my perks. I generally didn't talk about myself to new people, but there was something different about Sabrina that just made me want to open up, "One you saw back there. I can take a hit no matter how hard. And I can dish it out just as much as I can take it." I explained to Sabrina. I could see the look in Sabrina's eyes knowing what she wanted. I would have let her but she was fighting for self control so I left that alone. I was going to answer that I had been around before, but the teacher told us to take seats thankfully together.

"Perks?" I asked curiously "what kind of perks?" I looked at him as they walked he was kinda cute the dangerous looking type. My favorite she thought and the mark on his face, she wanted to reach out and touch it. She held herself back knowing it would be weird if she did. She let her breath go, not realized She'd been holding it. "At least I'll know someone in some of my classes" she murmured to herself more relaxed now, knowing that she had someone to help her again if need be. "Are you new here to?" I asked shyly though I was pretty sure he wasn't. He didn't have time to answer as we entered the class, the teacher told us to find an empty lab table.

I couldn't understand the charm that this girl had. She seemed cute with her more insecure seeming personality though he was sure that would change a bit as the school year progressed, always seemed to happen in this sort of place, "More or less. I've got some perks to me that you wouldn't think." I spoke which I instantly began walking with her to get to her to her class, "It's nothing. Like I said, I help anyone that needs it. Especially since the prime students here think they run the world around here. But yeah, science 101 is my next class. We're sharing it apparently." I spoke. It was kind of funny that this girl was in my class and from the looks of her schedule it seemed that most humans were grouped together this semester since I had many of the same classes at the same time.

"Your right" I said letting a small smile touch my lips. I blushed looking down "thank you I will probably need one" I said slightly embarrassed that I couldn't take care of myself. "Aren't you human to though?" I asked trying to seem like I didn't already know something was off about him. Chris put his hands in his pockets looking awkward. "Thank you for saving me Chris" I said gratefully looking at him smiling. "Do you know where science 101 is?" I asked pulling out my class list, and holding it out for him to look at.

I could see that she was nervous, it was written all over Sabrina's face like a book. After my display taking an impact and using a simple strike to take down a large prime it was easy to see why I looked like I was just going to cause trouble. At her question I shrugged my shoulders, "I saw someone being pushed around and I helped out. Plus, the new guys need to understand that just because they are primes doesn't mean that they are invincible." I spoke to the new girl chuckling at the idea that I would more than likely need to do this again, "Do you need an escort to get around? Humans aren't exactly liked around these parts. It's the whole town really, just need to get used to the unwritten rules." I explained before tucking my hands into my pockets.

How did I end up here she thought to herself as a group of male primes were surrounded harassing her. She hadn't even started it she was looking around for some other humans to talk to, when they approached her and backed her up against the lockers. Now scared she didn't say anything as they started pushing her around. Hearing someone stand up for her caused her to look up and see a human trying to take on primes. Was he stupid or new everyone knew you didn't mess with them. Exhaling loudly as he stepped in to help her.

Watching him she wasn't sure exactly how to act, he seemed human but something about him was off. He wasn't fully human she came to realize that quickly. He spoke to her friendly, she internally smile as he apologized. Nodding at his advice she reached her hand out shakily "I'm Sabrina" she said quietly and softly. Nervously she looked up at him staring into his eyes questioningly. "Why did you do that?"

It was the first day of the new school year. The college was starting up the celebrations to get things ready and to lighten the blow of school being as rough as it was. Both from the prime students causing problems with the newly instated human students and the curriculum being difficult as well. The campus had just recently gone to accepting human students after such a long time being strictly prime only. It was done as an act to make the institution seem to have species equality even if they have no intention of being equal to anyone. As was evident of the student conduct throughout the campus.

Today was not much different, more emphasis was placed on the primes enjoying themselves all while the humans were more or less just skating along trying to get everything together for school. One particular male walked is way through the crowds. The students that knew him, both prime and human made sure to clear the way for him. The tribal looking birth trailed over his face and one eye while it progressed down his arm. His hostile appearance wasn't intentional however it just came from him, like an aura that seemed to trigger everyone's fear responses the instant he came along. It wasn't intended though it just came along.

A group of new bull type primes were grouping together laughing as they tormented a new human student was introduced to the school. Soon the intimidating human male made his way to the group and issued the threat, "Get away from that student before I beat the hell out of you."

One of the larger bulls looked back and laughed seeing the human looking like he was trying to be tough, "Oh yeah. And a wimpy little human is going to stop me from doing what I like?" The bull asked pounding his fist in his massive hands.

The human then chuckled, "Why yes. And when I'm done I think I might milk your mother." He spoke getting the bull riled up where he felt the impact of a massive fist against his face. The difference with most was that he didn't even move after the impact, "Is that your best shot?" He human male spoke pushing against the solid fist, "Let me show you mine." He spoke before pushing forward to knock the massive bull out of balance where an instant after a solid punch was sent into the bull's stomach which sent the bull reeling to the ground coughing and weezing while he tried to recover from the impact.

The primes saw that this human was not normal in the slightest and could see why he was so intimidating just being around, "Hey man. We didn't mean to start any trouble." Another male prime spoke who just received a glare from the human.

"Get lost and take your buddy here to the school nurse. I see you doing shit like this again and I'll tear your hide off." The human spoke before seeing the primes vacating so quickly that they just about left clouds of dust behind them, "Sorry about the mess." He spoke to the new student before then changing his aggressive attitude to one that seemed to be more friendly, "First rule of this school. Don't try and interact with someone outside your species. Never ends well." He said to the student holding a hand out, "Name's Chris." He spoke wanting to introduce himself.
