Mafia Girl [open m/m]

Quinn Gray had some time in the business by the time he was given the promotion to an official bodyguard of the mafia don's family. From time in the military, time as a small fry pulling small jobs, to more violent positions that seemed to more suit his skill set. He wasn't famous,, typically didn't really let too many know about his exploits under the don's orders. His promotion however was more simple and at times almost a waste of his skills established during his career under command. Of course he wasn't blind when he noticed that his boss's daughter seemed to take a shine to him, but he had to remain professional at all times. Try his hardest not to encourage the shine she took, but he didn't mind the attention he wasn't really used to getting in his old stations in this most volatile career. When the boss redirected him to other positions he would on occasion keep an eye on her, keeping a low profile to keep himself from being seen. Which was how he could track and located Charlie as quickly as he did.

Quinn took quiet strides through the door, layers of low profile armor layered into his suit and under clothing since he knew for a fact that there was no way this was going to end peacefully with him just walking out with his former charge behind him. The din of conversation behind that final door quickly fell silent when Quinn walked in and his silent steps finally became audible.

"I believe you picked up the wrong girl." Quinn spoke up while he glanced at the others. He recognized them, members of a small time gang that made their money by abduction. He hated the game they played and only now could really respond to it. Especially when the small group pulled out their guns.

The gunfight itself lasted a few agonizingly long minutes, the armor in his suit stopped the projectiles but the pain after still lingered with the bullets still embedded in the classy dress wear. The lone survivor, Quinn took to that last door and pulled it open more than eager to undo all the restraints Charlie had been covered in, "Good to see you're still good." The clearly tired man spoke up when the knife slit the last restraint, "Let's get out of here before the cops show up."

Charlie Du Paul was a rich kid, born to a rich family that was apart of the mafia. She didn't like how her parents made their money but it wasn't her business, she had moved out of home when she was eighteen and worked as a waitress and lived in an apartment her parents thought was less than good for her. Charlie knew her parents had her followed and watched by hired security to keep an eye on her and she ignored it, pretended that her parents had let her grow up and do as she wanted. One of the men who she had noticed following her was a man she had fallen in love with when he was working for her parents, of course when her parents found out Charlie was in love with him they had sent him away to work with someone else.

It had taken her off guard when she had seen him for the first time but Charlie didn't want to go back to her parents just to get close to him now that she was twenty. That was until the day she was walking back to her apartment from work when she was grabbed, Charlie attempted to fight back wondering where the men who normally followed her were.

One of the men who had grabbed her knocked her across the back of the head with his gun knocking her out to make her easier to steal, to them she was just a girl that they were grabbing off of the street to sell off into the sex trade. They did not know that they had grabbed the daughter of mafia members.

Several hours later Charlie woke up in a small room her wrists and ankles bound and she had a strip of tape over her mouth, looking around the dark room she shook her head trying to get hair flame red hair out of her ocean blue eyes to try and see her surroundings better. Frowning a little Charlie managed to shuffle herself on the floor over to the door of the room, pressing her ear against the door she could hear people talking, shifting she positioned herself so she could kick her legs out and slam her feet against the door wanting to get their attention.

Hearing some shouts for her to stop Charlie kicked out harder at the same time there was a loud thump from downstairs, suddenly there was shouting and gun fire. Once the gun fire had stopped Charlie's heart was beating hard, either the people who her parents had on their payroll finally found her or someone else was shooting up the place. Deciding she wanted to take her chance with whatever group of people who had come into the place she was in Charlie kicked out at the door repeatedly from where she was on the floor, hearing rapid footsteps heading for the room she was in Charlie tried to yell through the tape on her mouth as she kicked the door again with her bound feet.
