Mystery/Detective mixed with Supernatural/Fanatasy idea?

My character would be a red herring? Mmm, maybe he got into a fight with the vampire?

There was evidence of wolf blood, also, the silver-red blood of vampire. Her notes could point to the wolf, but it is actually a vampire

My character is a werewolf naturally, but he sticks to himself and only goes out into town to get food and do errands. He's not that hard to spot. Maybe your character knows him or knows of him. He could be a suspect or he could be a partner or just a liaison. I can play as a traditional werewolf, and I can have him be that rare werewolf that isn't drunk with power. Though the attack becomes his problem as he doesn't like hunters around the neighborhood. What do you think so far? I can bring in a vampire if the suspect is one.

here's what I got:

a woman comes to her little cottage/office. she feels as if she is being followed, possibly by a jealous ex boyfriend. my lady takes the case, gives the woman charms and protective crystals. then one day she gets a call from the police. her person is now dead, her charms and crystals broken. it becomes super ass personal for her, as the woman was tortured and assaulted before she died. in her case notes, everything seems to point towards certain supernatural creature group.

I'm just not sure how I would set it up. Would he be the mystery? Is she trying to figure out my character's secret? Is there a murder mystery? both? XD

It's be a couple days at least. Full day today, work tomorrow.

She was assaulted and kidnapped when she was ten. When she turned twenty one, she vowed to use her given powers to help others, in any way she can.

She is Romani/Scottish, and has a smooth Scottish accent. Six foot tall, dark emerald eyes, with deep red hair that shines like fire in the light.

She has a manor home inherited from her grandfather on her father's side after his passing, and she also travels for her job.

She definately has her mother's people's wanderlust ^.^

O- not too sure. ive been doing 5am to 12pm shifts, so i try to go to sleep early. so i dont think id be able to keep up on posting in a three way

Been reading mystery/detective novels lately, and since I like supernatural/fantasy stuff, why not mash that genre of supernatural/fantasy with mystery/detective?

Similar to the Dresden novels?
